2004年樂壇出了一位蘇格蘭創作女歌手 KT Tunstall (1975年出生於蘇格蘭) ，才女初試啼聲一鳴驚人。同年，首張專輯 " Eye to the Telescope 望遠鏡下的愛情 "，獲得多項國際權威雜誌四顆星的榮耀，得到大眾的廣泛好評，專輯歌曲風格多樣 。  成名曲 " Other Side of The World 到不了的終點 " 由蔡康永幫她做中文翻譯歌詞，真的翻的不錯 。 

Noel Gallaghe推薦評論 : 初始時 " Other Side of The World " 並沒有過多吸引我的注意力，當它在我的播放器裡反覆播放多日後便逐漸被之吸引。 " Other Side of The World " 其實是一首旋律平和且頗具流行性質的歌，然而真正的味道，我想只能從反覆的聆聽中才能體味吧。這是一首很耐聽的歌，就像KT那副耐人尋味的漂亮面孔。
